Welcome to our blog.
Our names are Samuel Crome and Rachel Cise; we work at a secondary school in Surrey.
After reflecting on staff wellbeing at our school, and participating in an INSET day with an outside provider who focused on staff stress and wellbeing, we decided the area required further investigation.
Our school have given us some funding to embark upon a research project which aims to understand stressors in the workplace at both a school and generic level, and more importantly, to work out how individuals and organisations can improve staff wellbeing.
We will be consulting academic research, speaking to experts in psychology, stress, wellbeing, in addition to vising schools and other workplaces to engage with how staff can feel valued and happy at work.
